Neuza Ribeiro

Neuza Ribeiro received a Post-doc in Organizational Behavior and a Ph.D. in Industrial Management with a specialization in Organizational Behavior from Aveiro University (Portugal), in 2010. She is professor of human resources management and organizational behavior at the School of Technology and Management, Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, since 2001. She was guest professor in MBA Program from Faculty of Economics of University of Coimbra and also in Human Resources Management Master from Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra. She was head of the Department of Management and Economics (ESTG) and now, she is coordinator of CARME – Center of Applied Research in Management and Economics. Her research focuses broadly on human resources management and organizational behavior. She has published more than 30 papers on these topics in indexed journals and received 6 scientific awards.

Teresa Eugénio

Teresa Eugénio received a Post-doc in ADVANCE, Lisbon University and Ph.D. in Management, specialization in Accounting from University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL/Portugal). She is Professor at Department of Management and Economics, School of Technology and Management of Leiria, Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. Now she is vice-coordenator of CARME – Centre of Applied Research in Management and Economics. She joined the department in 2001. She is Director of the Degree is Accounting and Finance ,was member of the scientific committee of the Master in Management and Control and head of the Department of Management and Economics (ESTG/IPL) . Her research interests included Social and Environmental Accounting; Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); Non-Financial Reporting, Sustainability education, Financial Accounting and Auditing.

Eleonora Santos

Eleonora Santos is PhD in Economics from University of Coimbra and received a Post doc in marine Economics from the Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (Porto, Portugal). She is an Established Researcher at the Centre of Applied Research in Management and Economics, Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. She is also a member of the order of Chartered Accountants and of Society for Radiological Protection (London, UK). she was Adjunct Professor at the D. Dinis Higher Education Institute where she coordinated and taught 14 Graduation Courses. She was editor of Regional Economic Development Research Journal from Universal Wiser (Singapore). She was awarded with 3 scientific merit awards from Oxford University (Oxford, UK) / General Electric Healthcare (Budapest, HU), Tokyo Foundation (JP) and Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal). She has participated in 5 national and international R&D projects. Her fields of interest and research are: Water Governance, Sustainability, Foreign Direct Investment, Economic Growth, Productivity, Industrial Organization, Tourism; Marine Economics and Health Economics. In addition, she has published several articles in the field of Medical Physics; and has participated in the Fourth Technical Meeting on Modelling and Data for Radiological Impact Assessments (MODARIA) at the Headquarters of the International Atomic Energy Agency (Vienna, AT).

Professor Derek McInerney – Faculty of Business & Humanities, Technological University of the Shannon Midlands Midwest

“Professor Derek McInerney is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing, Management & Digital Media, Faculty of Business & Humanities, (TUS Mid-West). He has lectured widely across the Faculty over the past 16 years at undergraduate and postgraduate levels while previously holding Head of Department, Head of Graduate Studies and Course Leader positions during this time. Currently he lectures to undergraduate students on the BBus (Hons) degree programme in Marketing, Enterprise & Innovation and Digital Marketing and the BA(Hons) in Social Care Work. He is also a Principle Investigator with CEIDE (Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Design and Engagement) in the Faculty. He has supervised successfully to doctoral level and currently supervises a number of doctoral and masters research degree research students in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SME Policy (CEIDE Research Centre). His holds undergraduate degrees from Limerick RTC, the Marketing Institute of Ireland and the University of Wolverhampton. His graduate degrees are from the University of Limerick, NUI Maynooth, University of Ulster and Limerick Institute of Technology”.

Professor João Duque – Lisbon School of Economics & Management, University of Lisbon

Professor João Luís Correia Duque graduated in Company Organisation and Management from Lisbon School of Economics & Management (ISEG) in 1984. He took Pedagogical Aptitude and Scientific Capacity tests in 1989 at the same institution with the thesis “Influence of Indebtedness on the Cost of Capital Rate”.
He also obtained a doctorate in 1994 from Manchester Business School with the thesis entitled “The Meaning of Implied Volatility in Pricing Stock Options Traded in Options Markets”. In 2009 Professor Ph.D. João Duque took office as President of ISEG, succeeding António Mendonça until 2012.
In addition to his academic activities, João Duque also disseminates knowledge through the media. He is currently a Full Professor at ISEG and a member of the Management Research Centre (ADVANCE).
