Sinopse/ Synopsis:
O Desenvolvimento Sustentável constitui um desafio de importância extrema no contexto atual. A recente aposta da nova Comissão Europeia no European Green Deal, tal como os esforços no âmbito da ONU, não só representam a importância política do tema, como abrem múltiplas oportunidades de trabalho em áreas que se cruzam com as unidades de I&D do Politécnico de Leiria, como o uso racional de recursos ou a economia circular, com particular ênfase na necessidade de colaboração interdisciplinar. A tertúlia proposta pelas unidades INESCC-DL e CARME, procura assim explorar não só o que pode ser o cruzamento das respetivas competências, mas também o que pode advir da colaboração com a restante comunidade científica do Politécnico de Leiria, com as empresas e com a restante sociedade.
Sustainable Development is a challenge of extreme importance in the current context. The new European Commission’s recent commitment to the European Green Deal, as well as UN efforts, not only represent the political importance of the issue, but also open up multiple job opportunities in areas that intersect with the R&D units of the Polytechnic of Leiria, such as the rational use of resources or the circular economy, with particular emphasis on the need for interdisciplinary collaboration. The workshop proposed by the research units INESCC-DL and CARME, seeks to explore not only what may be the crossing of their respective competences, but also what may come from the collaboration with the scientific community of the Polytechnic of Leiria, with companies and with the society in general.
